Your possibilities for your semester abroad:

Studies via ERASMUS+ (studying within Europe via Cogsci partner universities)
Studies via University Co-operations (studying worldwide via UOS partner universities)
Internships (organized by you, support via ERASMUS in Europe possible; DAAD programs)

RISE Worldwide - Canada MITACS Program

As part of RISE Worldwide (Research Internships in Science and Engineering), applications for a research internship in Canada are open as early as August 10 through September 21, 2023. The earliest start of the internship is in summer 2024. The duration is 10 to 12 weeks. The DAAD is cooperating here with the Canadian exchange organization Mitacs in the Globalink program. The offer is aimed at bachelor's, diploma and state examination students from universities and universities of applied sciences in the fields of natural sciences and engineering, medicine, psychology and computer science. (Master's students are unfortunately not eligible to apply). The scholarship holders receive

- a monthly DAAD full scholarship installment and
- a one-time travel allowance (both depending on the destination country).
- a health, accident and liability insurance.
- a local (Globalink) mentor.

Application for RISE Worldwide Internships in Canada: from August 10 to September 21, 2023, internship period: 10 to 12 weeks, earliest start date: May 1, 2024, latest start date July 31, 2024 (by arrangement).

UniTrento International Winter School DecolHeri 2024

 Dear Partner,
We are happy to inform you about the upcoming Winter School DecolHeri - Decolonizing Cultural Heritage, taking place on-campus in Trento from 5 to 16 February 2024.

All details about the Conditions, Program, Assessment Tasks and Arrival Info Kit, are available on the DecolHeri webpage.

You can spread the news among your students using the this flyer as well. Students can contact Trento (Jonathan and Chiara) directly for questions.

NOMINATION:
Please contact Petra Dießel at UOS (pdiessel@uos.de) by 14 October so that she can nominate you.

UOS can nominate up to 5 upper-level Bachelor’s (from 3rd year on) and/or Master’s students. Please do not contact Trento directly.

APPLICATION:

Application by nominated students is due by 30 October 2023 through an online application tool available starting from 1st October in the section Useful Links on the aforementioned DecolHeri web page.

FINAL SCREENING:

UniTrento will carry out a final screening of applicants and an acceptance e-mail to admitted students will be sent in the first week of November with guidance for the next steps and visa application support, if needed.

 PARTICIPATION COSTS:
The reduced participation cost reserved for your students is € 400 instead of € 1.000.

Students who want to learn more about the academic program and the socio-cultural activities are invited to attend the online Info Session on Tuesday, 19 September, scheduled either at

This section will be updated periodically over the next few weeks and the organization and admission requirements are up to each Department, so interested students are asked to contact them directly for more details.
