"Co-evolution of semantic meaning and pragmatic use" Paper accepted for publication at Cognitive Science
Welcome to the website of the Mathematical and Computational Models of Cognition (MCMC) group at the Institute for Cognitive Science in Osnabrück. Cognitive Modeling is a subfield of Cognitive Science which develops formal models of cognitive processes or behavior and, where possible, tests these models based on empirical data. The MCMC group focuses in particular on higher-order cognitive phenomena, such as decision-making, language use and processing and social reasoning. We also work on cognitive development and models of cognitive/language evolution.
