Coordinator for Individual Study Planning

Laura Krieger is the coordinator for individual study planning. She can provide guidance to students in developing their individual study plans based on their academic goals, interests, and career aspirations within the field of cognitive science. Additionally, she

• collaborates with faculty to design and update curricula that meet the evolving needs of students and the field of cognitive science.
• identifies and provides access to resources that support students’ individual study plans, such as research opportunities, internships, or workshops.
• collects feedback from students and faculty about the study program and uses it to make improvements.

Office hours take place on Mondays from 10.30-12 a.m. in room 50/302 or online. Please request an appointment by email (laura.krieger@uos.de).

Dean of Studies

Dr. Dr. Gregor Hörzer, the Cognitive Science program coordinator and Dean of Studies, is responsible for the Bachelor and Master programs of the teaching unit "Cognitive Science". The student mentoring team or the examination office might redirect you to him in certain cases, such as:

• Questions about formal steps that require individual decisions by the examination board or the dean of studies
• Questions regarding an application for a compensation for disadvantages (”Nachteilsausgleich”)
• Requests regarding the BAföG forms
• A letter for the foreigner’s office regarding the expected end of your studies

Office hours take place on Mondays from 10-12 a.m. in room 50/306.
