Research Interests

My research interest lies in the modeling of small scale, recurrently connected systems of information processing elements, the means of computation achievable by such systems and potential implementations of novel hard- and software paradigms for distributed, neuro-morphic computation.

Current Project

In my current research project I study the temporal co-operation of synaptic and intrinsic plasticity and the effects of delayed interactions in recurrent systems. Together with Kristoffer Appell I am concurrently involved in the development and application of the Traumschreiber EEG system.
