Research interests
- Computational Storytelling: Automatic plot generation, aesthetic evaluation of plot, mimetic character models, synthesis of multi-agent and planning approaches.
- Narrative Theory: Fictional minds, computational models of narrative, generative/dynamic models of plot and character, the possible worlds approach to narrative theory.
- Computational Creativity: Empirical evaluation of creative systems, theoretical models of creativity and computational approaches to modelling them, interaction between reflective and generative processes.

Thesis supervision
I'm currently not available as supervisor for BSc and MSc thesis. Theses have been previously possible pertaining to topics in computational storytelling; example projects can be found on the respective page. So far, 4 theses have been conducted under my supervision.
